About Blue Moon Spotlight

Remember Dell's Four Color? DC's Showcase? Charlton Premiere? Marvel's early Marvel Super-Heroes, or Marvel Premiere, or Marvel Spotlight, or Marvel Preview? How about DC Special? 1st Issue Special? DC Super Stars? DC Special Series? Gold Key Spotlight? Charlton Bullseye? If you remember any (or all) of those titles, then you have a very good idea of what Blue Moon Spotlight is going to be like. If you've never heard of any of those classic titles, then Blue Moon Spotlight is going to be something very new and different for you.

Every issue of Blue Moon Spotlight will focus on a different character or feature, and every issue will be a complete, done-in-one tale. Some features will be recurring; others may be seen only once. That will depend on you, as you'll vote with your wallet (or PayPal account as the case may be). The major difference between Blue Moon Spotlight and the classic mags named above is that it will be black and white, and each issue will run 8 pages (plus color covers). Who knows, if fandom backs us with enough enthusiasm, maybe someday we can switch to a full-length color comic. Again, it's all up to you.

For our part, we at Blue Moon Comics (Dave, Donnie, Joe, John, JW, Ian, Michael, and me) just hope you'll enjoy the stories we bring you. We hope you'll keep coming back every other month. And we hope that, if you dig us, you'll share your fondness for Blue Moon Spotlight with your fellow comics fans. (For that matter, we hope you'll share your fondness for Blue Moon Spotlight with your non-comics fan friends. Maybe we can make a comicbook fan out of them, too.) We're doing our best to give you as much action and excitement in each eight page story as you'd get in several issues of "those other comics." As a local business once phrased it, "We don't want to be the biggest. Just the best!"
